· PSG defeated the Ballymun Kickums to secure first place. They won 1-0 on a late goal. This exciting game went back and forth with many shots and it was a shame one

· The new expansion team “Burbank Rangers” has just announced that they are withdrawing from HPL league play this season. Reasons stated were expansion financial difficulties plus other pressing obligations. However, the team has not been disbanded and they will be available occasionally for friendlies and cup tournaments.

Harkness Premier League News 11-19-2008

Last Wednesday Nov 14, we played three games :

· The Grenadiers beat the Red Devils (an expansion team) 5-0 , The Red Devils manager is expecting more efficiency from this offensive players. Maybe some transfer rumors, we ll see soon!!
· PSG beat The Grenadiers 1-0 , intensive game with 2 posts for the Grenadiers.
· The Red Devils and The Rangers drew 0-0.

Harkness Premier League News 11-12-2008

Last Wednesday Nov 5, we played three games using our new rule modifications:

· The Tigers beat the Red Devils (an expansion team) 1-0
· Real and PSG drew 0-0. The score is misleading because this was a very, very exciting game with many chances for both sides,
· PSG beat the Kickums 3-1. Another fast moving exciting game.

Blue Heron Cup

The beginning of the season is starting now, and here are some pics of the opening day. PSG was the champion of the cup played with four of the teams in it: Real Quito, Tigers, and Ezrum Ranger, new comer in the league. PSG has again pushed its luck into winning Real Quito in penalty quicks, and winning the final against Tigers in a well fought game. Very exciting opening day with lots of drinking involved, not a surprise. Friday 17 Harkness Premier League will begin, expecting new two teams Manchester U, and Ezrum Rangers.
